This page is the single authoritative source for what Apex training costs. Fees shown here are the fees Apex invoices, in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST where it applies. Every fee is confirmed in writing in your enrolment agreement before you commit.
Nationally recognised training
Training products delivered by Apex Learning and Development on our scope of registration, RTO 46324. Where a charge is not listed against a product, that charge does not apply to it, with one exception: the administration fee that can apply if you pay but do not start (see "Charges that apply across products" below). A product shown as Enquire is the other exception: Apex confirms every charge for it in writing before you enrol.

| Recognition of Prior Learning assessment, per unit | $100 | ||
| Administration fee if you pay but do not start (you did not attend a booked session) | For nationally recognised training the fee is the lower of $100 for each unit of competency you paid for and 20% of the amount you paid. If you pay for a qualification in instalments, the fee is 20% of the amount you have paid. No GST is added to it. There is no fee if your enrolment lapsed or we withdrew it before any training. You choose between a refund less the fee and a credit for the same amount, after the fee, that you can use for 12 months. Examples: you paid $130 for HLTAID009, so the fee is $26 and you get $104 back or as credit; you paid $180 for HLTAID011, so the fee is $36 and you get $144; you paid a first Sport Coaching instalment of $612.50 (SIS20321), so the fee is $122.50 and you get $490. This fee is separate from the Recognition of Prior Learning fee above. See "Refunds" below. | ||
All fees are confirmed in writing in your enrolment agreement before you commit. No fees are payable through this website. Payment details and timing are set out in your letter of offer before enrolment is confirmed.
Non-accredited professional development programs
Leadership, business and workplace skills, AI and future skills, the Personal Safety Program, and psychosocial safety, hazard and risk are non-accredited professional development programs. They are not nationally recognised training and do not lead to a qualification or statement of attainment.
These programs are scoped and quoted per engagement, because the content, duration and group size are built around your team. There is no published per-person fee. Request a proposal with your team size and what you want to achieve.
How fees work
- Disclosed before you enrol: all fees and charges, including tuition, materials, and any administration charges, are stated before enrolment and included in your letter of offer.
- Fixed once you are enrolled: published fees may change, but never for learners already enrolled. Your fee schedule is fixed for your period of study.
- Prepaid fee protection: Apex never holds more than $1,500 in prepaid fees for any individual learner. Employers and businesses may pre-pay for their learners in full.
- Government funding: Apex does not hold a government funding contract, so no government training entitlements or subsidies are available for Apex training. Every fee on this page is fee for service.
- Receipts: a receipt is issued for every payment. Keep them as proof of payment.
- Outstanding fees: enrolment may be suspended until outstanding fees are paid, and serious or repeated non-payment may result in cancellation of enrolment.

Refunds
Refund eligibility, how requests are assessed, processing times and your right of appeal are set out in the Refunds Policy (POL04). So there is one version of the refund terms and no risk of them drifting apart, they are published in one place only.
If you paid but did not start: we contact you and offer a choice of a refund, less an administration fee, or a credit for the same amount, after the fee, that you can use on a future Apex course within 12 months. For nationally recognised training the fee is the lower of $100 for each unit of competency you paid for and 20% of the amount you paid (20% of the amount you have paid, if you pay a qualification in instalments). No GST is added. If your enrolment lapsed or we withdrew it before any training, there is no fee. You have 30 days from our written offer to choose. If you do not reply, we hold the amount as a credit for 12 months.

Recognition of Prior Learning and credit transfer
Recognition of Prior Learning is a learner right, not a favour. If you already hold the skills and knowledge, we assess what you can evidence and credit it, which reduces the units you need to complete and therefore your total course fee. Credit transfer applies where you already hold a matching unit, from Apex or another registered training organisation. Units completed in one Sport Coaching qualification are credited in the other (for example, from Certificate II into Certificate III), and the course fee is reduced pro rata for each credited unit. Talk to us before you enrol so your fee reflects it from the start.
Training products listed under nationally recognised training are delivered by Apex Learning and Development, RTO 46324. All fees, training arrangements and Recognition of Prior Learning options are provided in a written enrolment agreement prior to commencement, in compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2025.
