1. Using this website

  • We keep the information on this site accurate and current. Course details, fees and dates can change; the details confirmed to you in writing before you enrol are the ones that apply to you.
  • This site links to other websites, such as training.gov.au and government services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
  • The text, images, videos and design of this site belong to Apex or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for your own use; do not copy or republish our content without asking us.
  • How we handle personal information you give us through this site, including our enquiry and refund forms, is set out in the Privacy Notice on our Policies and Procedures page.
  • These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.

2. Buying in the Apex online store

  • What the store sells. The store sells non-accredited professional development programs only. They are not nationally recognised training and do not lead to a qualification or a statement of attainment. When you complete a program you receive an Apex certificate of completion. Our nationally recognised courses, such as first aid and CPR, are not sold through the store; you enrol in them through the course pages on this site.
  • Price. The price shown at checkout is the full price of the program, including GST where it applies. There are no other fees.
  • Access. After payment you receive access to the program in our learning platform. How long your access lasts is to be confirmed, and will be published on this page.
  • Refunds. You are entitled to a full refund if you withdraw in writing before the program commences. When a self-paced online program counts as commenced, for this rule, is to be confirmed, and will be published on this page. After it commences, a partial refund for the part you have not used, or no refund, may apply, and exceptional circumstances are considered case by case. If we cancel or withdraw a program you have paid for, you receive a full refund. Ask using our Refund Request Form; we tell you the outcome in writing within ten business days of receiving your request, with our reasons and how to appeal. Approved refunds are paid within 20 business days of approval, to the payment method you used. These refund terms come from our Refunds Policy (POL04).
  • Your consumer rights. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Enrolling in a course

When you enrol in one of our courses you agree to our Enrolment terms and conditions. They cover your information and USI, fees and refunds, training and assessment, conduct, certification, withdrawal, photographs and video (including how to opt out), privacy and complaints. Photographs and video

Apex may take photographs and video during training and use them in its marketing and learning materials, including its website, social media, brochures and advertisements. If you do not want images of you used, tell your trainer or email info@apexld.edu.au at any time, before or after your session. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian can also tell us. We will record your request, stop using images of you from that point and remove them from material we control where we can. Opting out does not affect your enrolment, training or assessment. We ask for your separate written consent before we publish a testimonial or a named story about you.
