Apex expands corporate workshop offerings

We've added Communication Techniques, Sales Strategies, Being Comfortable with the Uncomfortable, and AI workshops to our non-accredited corporate training catalogue.

Office Melbourne

Over the past 18 months, the most common conversation we've had with clients hasn't been about nationally recognised qualifications, it's been about the everyday skills their teams need that don't quite fit into the AQF framework.

Communication that actually lands. Sales conversations that don't feel like sales. Leaders who can have hard conversations without dodging or escalating. Teams figuring out how to use AI without burning themselves on it.

So we've made it official. Apex now delivers five new non-accredited workshops alongside our nationally recognised training.

What's new

Communication Techniques, practical methods for clearer messaging, active listening, and reducing the misalignments that quietly drain team performance. Built for whole teams, new staff, or customer-facing functions.

Sales Strategies, discovery, qualification, and closing approaches tailored to your industry. Best for new sales staff, refreshes for existing teams, and business owners selling their own service.

Being Comfortable with the Uncomfortable, for leaders and supervisors who need practical structures for performance feedback, behavioural conversations, and conflict resolution. The kind of training people remember years later because it changed how they show up at work.

Introduction to AI, demystifying AI for teams just starting out. Covers what AI does, where it helps, where it fails, and how to use it without putting your organisation at risk.

Effective Prompt Engineering, for teams who've moved past "playing with ChatGPT" and want to build reliable, repeatable AI workflows. Hands-on, with take-home prompt libraries.

Why these, why now?

Three reasons.

First, this is what our clients keep asking for. We've been delivering custom versions of most of these for months, formalising them into a catalogue makes them easier to access and easier to scope.

Second, the AI workshops in particular fill a gap we kept seeing: organisations have access to powerful tools but their teams aren't trained to use them well. Better to address that head-on than watch the productivity gains stay theoretical.

Third, these complement (rather than compete with) our nationally recognised training. If you're running a workplace, your team probably needs both, the formal credentials for compliance and progression, and the practical skills for everyday performance.

What "non-accredited" means here

These workshops are not nationally recognised training products. They sit outside our RTO scope of registration. Participants receive an Apex Certificate of Attendance, useful for personal records and continuing professional development logs, but not equivalent to an AQF qualification.

If you need a nationally recognised credential, those are on our category pages: Sport Coaching, First Aid & CPR, and Health, Safety & Wellbeing.

How to engage

Most of these workshops are delivered on-site at your workplace, but we also run them as online sessions and as one-to-one or small-group formats. Half-day to one-day, modular content, tailored to your industry context.

The fastest way to get started is to tell us what you need, your team size, the specific outcome you're after, and your rough timeframe. We'll come back with a scope and a quote.
